Derailment Protection  

JSW over the past 15 year has designed and been involved with the modeling of various types of derailment protection systems adjacent rail corridors of Metrolinx, CNR and CPR. The protection systems have ranged from the typical 2.5m high earth berm with 2.5:1 side slope to heavily reinforced concrete crash walls. JSW has designed a number of systems which enable our client to reduce the typical 30m development setback.
